2 years and 7 months into the artist's medical transition. this piece is a challenge in vulnerability, to scrutinise one's own form in a public manner. it is a challenge to sexualisation - normalising the naked form outside of patriarchal and capitalist 'ideals' - and navigating a cisgendered society with proscribed ideas of how genders and sexes 'should' conform to these ideals.
