Hoodening - a folk custom in Kent, England - entails the use of a wooden hobby horse (mounted on a pole and carried by a person hidden under a sackcloth) and an accompanying group (including a 'molly' and several musicians) to visit local houses and shops around Christmas time.
This particular hooden horse design is based off of an art piece for my upcoming project 'can you feel me in the swells?'.
Each print is unique due to the printing process. Although I strive to make clean prints, please be aware there may be small inconsistencies or flaws between each copy.
Designed and hand carved linocut card.
5 x 7", 250gsm, acid and lignin free, ivory card. Includes envelope.
